How am I qualified to teach you? I'm not. Not really. God gave me the desire to teach over ten years ago, and for the past 7 I've been actively involved in a classroom or education setting. I've studied under people who have studied from some of the greats in the industry: Minor White, Lauren Fair, Katelyn James, Jordan and Amy Demos. I want to pass on what I've learned from them, to you.

Hi friend! I'm Holly. Wife, mother, teacher, photographer.
I've been in the industry for a long time - almost ten years! In those years I've learned a lot. Most of all, I learned that I wanted to teach others to make their beginning in business easier than my attempt ever was. I remember when I started I spent hours on youtube, scouring the internet for resources on how to start a photography business. I bought a camera that looked like one I'd seen a professional use. I messaged photographers on instagram asking for a mentor session only to hear crickets back. In between classes I was googling, or out shooting, experimenting with what limited knowledge I had.
I don't want that to be you. I want you to find resources right at your fingertips. I learned everything the hard way, so you don't have to.
I have a background in education almost as long as I've been photographing people. I wanted to merge the two to create a space where new photographers could learn, without doing all the hard work that I had to when I started.
