Engagements

Carlisle Spring Creekside Engagement Session

April 29, 2021

Three years ago Dan and Morgan met at a fishing convention. They had known of each other but not really known each other until they started talking. They both love fly fishing and have had the opportunity to travel all over the world because of it! Fishing was a hobby for Morgan from her childhood that came with her as she grew. She absolutely loved it, but there was one thing she didn’t like — being asked out on dates after asking her guy friends if they’d go fishing with her! Until Dan. He had to ask her out several times after they went fishing together before she finally caved. And I think she’s really glad she did!

Morgan + Dan are some of the coolest people I know. Laid back, easy-going, and super sweet, these two made their engagement session so fun! Their love for each other was so evident the entire time we were with them for their session. It makes me so excited for their wedding in the fall!

P.S. Take a look at Morgan’s ring. Dan had it designed custom to look like a hatching caddis fly. Something incredibly unique to both of them and their love of fishing and the outdoors!

BEHIND THE LENS

Meet
    Holly

Photographer, artist, mother, wife, author, inspired by nature, good light, and you.

I've been a photographer for over ten years and an equestrian for over eighteen. I feel most alive and creative when I’m surrounded by nature — sweeping landscapes, quiet beauty, and golden light. I cherish time with my family and the people I love most, and I hold the Sabbath close as a reminder that rest is as sacred and necessary as hard work. Above all, I believe life’s greatest gift is found in both loving deeply and being deeply loved in return.
