NOTE —

If your blog post's featured images are fairly low resolution, you may want to delete the top image canvas. Your blog will still look gorgeous, but the top banner section looks best when you upload an image that's 2500px on the long side. You can also use our fave TinyJpeg to make them small so your blog posts still load quickly!

Summer Lavender Field Proposal

June 28, 2023

Two years ago Tori and Dan responded to a model call I had posted on my page for a couples session in cherry blossoms. They had only been dating for a few weeks when they stepped in front of my camera for the first time. Now, they’ve been dating for a few years and I had the honor of capturing their surprise proposal!

With the chance of rain and thunderstorms threatening to postpone the surprise, we squeezed it in the best we could. And I’m so glad we did! The clouds added the perfect coverage for a beautiful night, and now these two are engaged!

Congratulations Tori and Dan on your engagement! So honored to have been there to celebrate it with you!

BEHIND THE LENS

Meet
    Holly

Photographer, artist, mother, wife, author, inspired by nature, good light, and you.

I've been a photographer for over ten years and an equestrian for over eighteen. I feel most alive and creative when I’m surrounded by nature — sweeping landscapes, quiet beauty, and golden light. I cherish time with my family and the people I love most, and I hold the Sabbath close as a reminder that rest is as sacred and necessary as hard work. Above all, I believe life’s greatest gift is found in both loving deeply and being deeply loved in return.
