NOTE —

If your blog post's featured images are fairly low resolution, you may want to delete the top image canvas. Your blog will still look gorgeous, but the top banner section looks best when you upload an image that's 2500px on the long side. You can also use our fave TinyJpeg to make them small so your blog posts still load quickly!

Doubling Gap Fall Engagement Session

January 25, 2024

Logan + Makayla chose Camp YoliJwa in Doubling Gap as the background for their engagement session. We had a breezy beautiful fall day and managed to get the last of the fall colors before the leaves all fell. It was been an honor to be friends with these two throughout the years, watching them grow closer together in their walks with the Lord and with each other.

When they started dating, they bought a bible for each other to pray over, write in, and highlight verses. When we did their engagement session, they gave the bibles to each other and read the notes inside of them. It was the most precious thing! I cannot wait for their wedding this September (they’re our last official wedding!)

Congratulations Logan + Makayla!

BEHIND THE LENS

Meet
    Holly

Photographer, artist, mother, wife, author, inspired by nature, good light, and you.

I've been a photographer for over ten years and an equestrian for over eighteen. I feel most alive and creative when I’m surrounded by nature — sweeping landscapes, quiet beauty, and golden light. I cherish time with my family and the people I love most, and I hold the Sabbath close as a reminder that rest is as sacred and necessary as hard work. Above all, I believe life’s greatest gift is found in both loving deeply and being deeply loved in return.
