MEET Holly & Grant

See all those beautiful published weddings in magazines and on Instagram? Most of those flat lays are created with a few important things!

First off, you want to have all your details ready for your wedding photographer on the morning of the wedding. Your details include:

  • Invitation suite
  • All 3 rings
  • Jewelry you’re wearing
  • Shoes (his and hers)
  • Perfume bottle
  • His watch
  • Boutonniere
  • Ring box
  • Veil
  • Pieces of sentimental value
  • Extra florals (ask your florist for these!)

Sometimes I’ll even suggest little things like a tray, wax seals, stamps, antique scissors, extra lace and ribbons from your wedding dress or bouquet, and anything extra that is special to you and your day. Sometimes I’ll even have people include champagne bottles! Flat lays are a fun way to encompass everything about your wedding day on a small scale.
