MEET Holly & Grant

Family formals are one of the most stressful parts of a wedding day. But they don’t have to be! Here are a few tips to make this part of your day seamless and easy!

  1. Have a list established beforehand! Having a printed list before the day starts will prevent forgetting someone important in the moment.
  2. Write people’s names down as well as their connection to you! EX: Bride and Groom and Groom’s grandparents Emma and Joe. Including names makes it easier for your photographer as they’re reading down the list. It allows them to grab people’s attention faster, making it go smoother!
  3. Limit your groupings! Any more than 10 or so groupings makes it challenging. A. to wrangle that many people is a process and B. it takes time! Help yourself out to get photos with only the most important people so that you and your guests can go enjoy coctail hour later.
