Clayton and Janae chose Cowans Gap for their engagement session, and it was a perfect choice for this beautiful fall session! We had heard of this incredible overlook, and I knew it would be gorgeous at sunset! These two are incredibly adventurous; Clayton proposed in Grant Teton NP, so I had to pick somewhere just as stunning in PA for their engagement photos.
Cowans Gap was the perfect backdrop with the fall leaves and rolling mountains in the distance. We had a great evening wandering around, finding neat spots, and laughing together! We focused on their natural connection and deep adoration for each other for their engagement session. I wanted the photos to feel like themselves, and like they were pulling on their favorite sweater – comfy and familiar. The warm tones of the fall leaves and their neutral-toned outfits really pulled the session together. The best part? We all matched in our favorite Bludstones! You can snag your own pair here!
I’m thankful that Clayton and Janae chose Cowans Gap for their engagement session, and I’m thrilled about their upcoming micro wedding in New Hampshire this December!

We started at the overlook with the stunning views of the valley below, before finding a field to take some photos in. Then, we wandered around finding the best fall leaves and backdrops to take their photos in front of!
